On September 26, NS BlueScope Vietnam had the honor of welcoming participants from the HCMC Sustainable Business & Entrepreneur Development Program, organized by the Investment & Trade Promotion Centre of Ho Chi Minh City (ITPC) in collaboration with the Vietnam Industrial Real Estate Association (VIREA) and BambuUp, for a field visit and practical learning experience at NS BlueScope Vietnam’s Phu My plant — the first steel manufacturer in Vietnam and Southeast Asia to achive the ResponsibleSteel™ site certification.

During the visit, participants had the opportunity to observe the company’s automated production line, explore the Innovation Lab, and engage with company leaders to gain insights into how NS BlueScope Vietnam integrates sustainability into its operations through comprehensive governance, safety culture, and responsible sourcing program.

This visit is one of NS BlueScope Vietnam’s ongoing initiatives to share practical ESG practices and experiences with the broader business community. Through such engagements, the company aims to help strengthen business capabilities and contribute to building a more sustainable community in Vietnam.
